We are always asked a different question or two by each new client that we fish with. So, we are writing this as we wanted you to know what you can expect when dealing with us and hopefully to address some of the things that will aid in making certain that your fishing trip with us is a successful one.

First and foremost, once all of your questions have been answered and your concerns properly addressed and you have made your decision to fish with us we will verfiy your contact information and confirm the date of your arrival as well as the days that you will be fishing. Once a date has been set, we ask that you confirm your reservation with a $100 deposit. The deposit can be paid either by way of a credit card, PayPal or by check, whichever you prefer. We are also available at any time prior to your trip to answer any questions or to address any other concerns that you may have.

Q. What should I bring?
A. South Florida fishing can be cold in the mornings, especially when running the boat up on plane. We recommend that you bring a jacket, a hat, polarized sunglasses, a camera and of course sunscreen.

Q. Where do I meet my guide?
A. On the day prior to your trip, your guide will call you to confirm everything with you for a second and final time. The guide will either be picking you up at your hotel or will give you good directions to the local marina's boat ramp or the tackle shop where you will meet.

Q. Should I tip my guide?
A. After your day of fishing is over, your guide will take you back to the original place of meeting and here you will settle up your bill. Gratuities are not included in the fee for the trip, nor are they expected by any of our guides. Tips are earned by exceeding your expectations and providing you with a superior level of service. If you feel that we did this then reward the guide accordingly but please never feel compelled to offer a gratuity if one is not deserved. A good standard measure for gratuities is always 20%.

Q. Do I need to arrange transportation?
A. All you need to do is get yourself to your hotel or to our initial meeting place, we will handle the rest.

Q. Do I need to bring my fishing rods?
A. No, you do not need to bring any fishing gear. We provide everything that you will need for a successful day on the water with the exception of live bait. We even have a fly rod on the boat. However, you are more than welcome to bring your favorite rods and reels, and yes, even that magic lure of yours.

Q. Should I bring a lunch?
A. Yes, you should bring a lunch or a light snack for your time on the boat. However, we can arrange for you to eat lunch on the water at Sonias or at the Hilton or we will stop somewhere upon your request.

Q. Do I need a cooler?
A. No, all of our boats are equipped with built in coolers and will have ice ready for your beverages upon your arrival. You may also bring a small cooler of your own if you wish.

Q. Are alcoholic beverages allowed?
A. Yes, you may bring your favorite alcoholic beverages aboard, however you also need to drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.

Q. Do I need a fishing license?
A. Yes, for all freshwater trips, the State of Florida requires everyone between the ages of 16 and 65 to have an active Florida fishing license. This license can be obtained over the phone by calling 1-800-FISH-FLO or at our local Wal-Mart and Bass Pro Shops stores.

Q. Do you handle corporate outings?
A. Yes, we can entertain corporate parties of any size with sufficient notice.
